My dream as a child was to be involved with horses 24/7 and now I make that dream come true for many kids and adults.  I have worked my entire life to become a better horseman and teach the same.

Our objectives at the school and in life are utilizing safety and knowledge to achieve these goals.   Care and concern for horses is a great responsibility, and using LubriSyn has improved the horses who keep my dream and my business alive.  I have done studies with many products and the results from LubriSyn have amazed myself and my clients.

My belief in LubriSyn, and the care and concern shown by the people within the company, have led me to represent this tremendous product.

    Jane and Jack Kane

    Jane and Jack Kane

Let me tell you about our best friend (of the four-legged type).  Her name is Scamper, and she is a ten-year old Golden Retriever.  My husband Jack and I just adore her!
    Scamper

    Scamper

She loves tennis balls, and anybody who will throw the tennis ball.  You better not be in her way when she is running after a tennis ball because you will be quickly pushed out of the way!  She also has learned another use for a tennis ball.  She discovered that if you bark with a tennis ball in your mouth, the bark is deeper and sounds more threatening.  If she is out on our deck and sees something that needs special attention, she will run into the house, grab a tennis ball in her mouth, and go outside and bark. She really does sound like a much bigger and meaner dog.

Her obsession with chasing a tennis ball is what got her into trouble.  One day we were out in our front yard playing “chase the tennis ball”.  Running at her usual top speed, she twisted her back left leg and came limping back with the ball in her mouth.  We later found out from the vet that she had seriously injured her ACL and would have to have surgery to repair the damage.   After the surgery we were told that she would have to be on Cosequin for the rest of her life.  It helped, but she still had trouble going up and down stairs and getting back up after lying down.

I heard about the positive effects that Lubrisyn had on these types of problems, so I decided to try giving her Lubrisyn on a daily basis.  One day we were coming home from a walk.  In the past when we would reach the steps to our front porch, I would go up them slowly in case Scamper needed help.  I looked back to see if she needed help, but realized that she had already climbed the steps and was waiting for me on the porch.  The only thing that I had changed in her daily routine was that I had started giving her Lubrisyn.  It had to have been Lubrisyn that allowed Scamper to climb the stairs the first time without experiencing any hesitation and pain!

Scamper is doing great.  She is still chasing the tennis ball every chance she gets.  She is able to do things she did before the operation.  I guess you could say she has “more spring in her step”!  The one thing that I am sure of is that Scamper will be a “Lubrisyn dog” for the rest of her life.

I come from a long line of horsemen, from my grandfather that trained an Epson Derby winner. I have been very lucky in my life to be around great horsemen! I worked for Mikey Smithwick for 17 years, who I consider to be the best horsemen I’ll ever know! I also work for other Hall of Fame trainers.

My love has always been the show hunters – and I have been able to work for some of the top people. I have had hunters that have gone to Wellington, Florida and have been circuit champions.

I had always heard about Steve Allday being one of the best vets in the country. I love to meet people who are considered to be the very best at what they do.  My sister and I were going to the Breeder’s Cup held at Belmont Park that year.  As I was driving up there I asked my sister:  Do you think Steve Allday will be there? Kathy said absolutely.

We arrived at Belmont Park, and got out of the car in front of our friend’s barn.   Kathy turned to me and said, “Dr. Allday just walked into Lara and Dave Dugan’s barn!”

I just could not believe my luck!  I was introduced to Dr. Allday, and we talked for about 20 minutes – about LubriSyn! That was an “aha!” moment for me - and I have been representing LubriSyn ever since!

I love to hear all the success stories from the people who buy Lubrisyn from me. I love to see the results with my own eyes when I give it to my animals.  Lubrisyn has been a miracle for some animals.  When you see the results and understand the reasoning behind the product to enhance the quality of life, it really makes you feel good!

I started working for Halstrum in 2006.  I’m an adult amateur Dressage rider in Southern California.  Where I live and ride has some of the world’s best dressage riders. At local dressage shows it’s not uncommon to see some of our country’s Olympians like Günter Seidel and Steffen Peters competing…it’s pretty amazing.  And guess what:  all of their horses are on LubriSyn!  LubriSyn kept Florian in top form at the 2007 FEI Word Cup, Lomabardi II and Ravel going strong at the 2008 Olympics and helped UII become the 2008 National Developing Young Horse Champion.  I really enjoy working with Günter and Steffen and Shannon Peters, helping to keep their horses in top condition and winning.

As for myself, I have a fun little mare named Khaos.  Late last year after a re-occurring lameness issue, I was told that she should take on a new career as a breeding mare.  But after talking with the LubriSyn folks and modifying her dosage of LubriSyn, I was able to bring her back to full work and even jump up a level.  She’s going strong today, thanks to LubriSyn.

So whether you are at the top of your game or just wanting to ride and show here and there - LubriSyn is your source for keeping your equine partner sound and happy.  I just love this product!

I was introduced to LubriSyn at Hollywood Park by my good friend Alex Hassinger, a profound horseman and the National Sales Manager for Halstrum, Inc.  The results that my clients get on a daily basis make me proud to be affiliated with a company made of successful horse experts who have developed a product which truly has helped reduce injecting, especially with our colts.

My clients include all disciplines at every level, including some of the best bucking stock in the business, both bulls and horses.  I am also thankful for what LubriSyn has done for my good dog Sonny, she’s twelve years old and ready to rock at all times!

    Thank you Dr. Allday.

    Alex Hassinger

    Alex Hassinger

My name is Alex Hassinger, and I am the National Sales manager for Halstrum, the makers of LubriSyn.  My background with horses started with hunters and jumpers in New Jersey all the way through to high school. My uncle, John Gaines, had a thoroughbred breeding farm in Kentucky called Gainesway Farm.  I  started working there right out of college.

I headed west to work on the racetrack 25 years ago and then started training thoroughbreds. I have been very fortunate to be around some greats, as I had Cigar in my care as a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old. I trained two winners of Breeders Cup races Eliza in 1992, and Anees in 1999, for Allen Paulson and Prince Ahmed bin Salman.

I am a fan of the horse, and take great joy in travelling the country representing LubriSyn to so many disciplines. Probably one of my biggest thrills on horseback was when Halstrum entered me in the Sponsorship Cutting Competition at the NCHA Summer Spectacular in Fort Worth. I had a great trainer in Punk Carter and was real excited that I had such a great opportunity.

My greatest pleasure is hearing all the LubriSyn success stories from people of all horse disciplines. From thoroughbreds to reiners, ropers to hunters and jumpers, and dressage to barrel racing.  It’s a great feeling to know that LubriSyn has helped so many horses.

    Suzy Howard
    Suzy Howard

Hi - I am Suzy Howard.  I train Dobermans for the competitive obedience sport.  I started training with my pet dogs when I was twelve.

I have always had a special love for Dobermans, and have had one most of my adult life. Smitty is my current dog and is the one I am presently competing with.  We are ranked in the top twenty Dobermans in the U.S. consistently.

I train and assist classes at Dayton Dog Training Club and Warren County Kennel Club in Ohio.

On my journey in dog training I have found that training dogs is an open door to a lifetime of learning.   As with all athletic training, there is a lot of rigorous and repetitive wear and tear on the body. With all the time it takes to train a dog at the competitive level, I want to do every thing to ensure longevity and soundness.

I use LubriSyn to promote healthy joints and ease arthritic conditions.

In large breed dogs going through puppy hood can present a variety of fast growth problems. This is where I start using LubriSyn to help them get through this rough period of time.

I started working as a sales consultant at Halstrum in June of 2008.  I grew up on a quarter horse and Angus cattle operation here in Kentucky. Horses and cattle are all that I have known, and I was extremely excited on this new road that I found myself traveling down with Dr. Allday.

I had heard from many people that if I ever got the chance to go with Dr. Allday to the racetrack to work on horses I needed to do so. One day he came in and asked if I would like to go to Belmont with him.  You can imagine my answer.

I have to tell you I have never seen a veterinarian so thorough with examinations and ability to diagnose tough problems. This guy even took the time to explain to the foremen what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what had caused it. Being able to spend time with Dr. Allday on the racetrack, working on the greatest athletes in the world has definitely been an eye opening experience - or should I say truly amazing.

It is one of those deals where you stop and think.  I thought, “This guy has his things in order. He has developed two products that are all about helping the animals.”
