  I am a backyard pony owner and have been for 14 years. Our family has the privilege or caring for four horses that range in age from 16 years to 23 years old. They are our beloved pets and continue to provide us with recreational entertainment. And they are getting old. As one person so artfully put it, “you are running a geriatric farm out there.”

  Well, they are right. Our mare is the eldest and she used to be a barrel racer. She has been getting more and more stiff over the years—and more and more “difficult” to ride. I thought it was her just “being a mare.” “Emo” the pony and another Arabian gelding named “Beau” are only a year or two behind her and they too were not moving as fluidly as they used to. And then we started assisting Halstrum LLC with the marketing of their HA product called LubriSyn.

  The way I initially heard about it was through my veterinarian. And then I attended one of the LubriSyn sales seminars and that’s when I realized that I needed to try this stuff. There were so many success stories shared during the course of the sales training that  I took some product home with me that evening and began the two-week test. I had thought of it as a supplement for performance animals, not my backyard brood.

  WOW! I saw a difference within 10 days. They were moving like the 7-9 year olds I bought many years ago. Especially that mare. Her attitude changed. She didn’t start swishing her tail the moment I got on her. She didn’t mind trotting and cantering around the arena. She acted like she felt so much better—because she did! And my sweet little Emo pony has benefited as well. He might still be a little over weight but he is moving the weight around like never before. He used to be so stiff coming out of the stall after a night in the barn. Not now. He hops right up from his slumber and can’t wait to get outside and roll around. Beau is also feeling great because of LubriSyn. He had a knee injury years ago and now you can’t even tell it happened.

  So, while it does add a little to the daily feed costs, LubriSyn is worth every dollar. Even my 16 year old paint takes it as a preventative measure. Take the two-week challenge and see for yourself. It’s been like a fountain of youth for my gang!
